We are incredibly excited and proud to announce Champü Salon as the winner of the 2016 Hatchling Contest!
Andrea Shumate, the salon’s fearless leader, is a powerhouse of hair design and this location is her entrepreneurial dream. She opened the doors in January and wants it to be vibrant and strong. She’s backed by a talented team of stylists, nail techs, and support staff, all of whom bring a huge amount of joy and enthusiasm to their jobs.
We chose Champü as the Hatchling because out of all the small business models out there we have a profound soft spot for mom and pop operations. It’s incredibly brave to open a standalone location and entrepreneurs face huge challenges. Andrea and her husband, Craig, have worked their tails off to get the salon open and operational and now they really need some help refining their systems to make sure it’s a rousing success. That’s where we come in. We’re going to help Andrea and her staff examine all their processes and assumptions to find the absolute best set of tools to ensure their long term health as a small business.
